Aqualandia Water Amusement Park
Slides and Waterfalls
Location: Town Centre
Within easy reach of the centre of Benidorm, Aqualandia is FUN so the kids will love it, which means
that parents will too. Assorted shutes / springboards / pools / rapids / waterfalls and black holes (that’s right, black
holes, but don’t worry, 'cos you go in two at a time) will satisfy all members of the wet set. Themed areas planted
with trees and shrubs house the Pistas Blandas, the Laguna, Niagara, Splash, the Big Bang... and the Kamikaze. But if they
sound a bit too demanding, don’t worry. Little ones, and the non-mermaids amongst you are also catered for with more
gentle options. Bars, shops, restaurants, showers and lockers etc are all available. Children from 0-90 enjoy animals and
wildlife.

Cactuslandia
Private Cactus Garden
Location: Town Centre
Still on a green theme but with prickles, you may like to visit this large private garden specialising
in succulents and cacti. On a site developed on a cliff over 40 years ago, a German businessman planted over 1000 different
species. There are now 3000 m2 of gardens divided into two areas, one for the cactii and the other for tropical plants such
as mango trees, guava trees, papayas and bananas. There is also a Natural History Museum with an impressive collection of

Terra Mitica has that much, that I have dedicated a whole page to it click below
for all the info you will need.
Guadalest
Guadalest, the 'Eagle's Nest', is located about 25 km inland from Benidorm along the CV-70
road. It enjoys one of the most spectacular locations of any village in Spain, set high up on a pinnacle and carved out of
a mountain top in the midst of truly stunning scenery. It has a population of only 200 but is one of the most popular
tourist attractions in Spain.
The drive inland from Altea is fascinating as you follow the winding road ever higher past the picturesque village
of Polop, before emerging finally high up over Guadalest.
Of Islamic origin, Guadalest was a military stronghold of great strategic importance and is the site of several
ancient castles, the remains of which can still be seen today - although earthquakes and battles during the War of
Spanish Succession (early 18th Century) have reduced these castles to little more than shells.
One of its most famous landmarks is the Peñon de La Alcalá tower rising high above the village to watch
over the valley below.
The castle village, which is reached through a tunnel, is a delight, with many little craft and souvenir shops, several
cafés and museums. You can take a little tour around the inside of the castle and the ramparts. It only costs a few Euros
and you will be rewarded with some simply breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and down to the Bay of Altea. There
are many works of art on display, from the elaborate to the comical.

Benidorm Island
Take a Submarine Trip!
Location: Town Centre Take a yellow, sub aquatic catamaran trip to Benidorm Island, 2 kilometres
out to sea. No, I didn't know what one of those was either, but apparently it’s like a regular catamaran with an underwater
deck where you can see marine life once you've arrived. The island is a conservation haven for a variety of birds, peacocks
and hens, so there you have it – something for the twitchers. Trips run every hour, tickets are available from the kiosk
at the far end of the quay
Terra Natura
Welcome to the 4 worlds of Terra Natura.
The silhouette of a great volcano can be glimpsed from outside the park.Fire is the main feature of
the beginning of your journey. Rivers of lava flow down through exotic gardens creating a grand concourse taking you into
the park where adventure awaits. Huge insects make you realise how small we are beside the wonders of nature. Welcome to Pangea,
where your senses will be put to the test.
America will envelop you in its aura of magic. Every corner of this continent, every vivid experience
is full of intsense contrasts and strikingly different landscapes ranging from dense virgin jungle, to majestic Mayan ruins.
The native dwellers will make you feel part of their customs, traditions and rituals.
As you enter Asia, the forest opens up on the way to a logging camp transporting you to a hidden and
exotic corner of the world. Quaint inns and huts scattered between tall palm trees creat a tranquil atmosphere interupted
only by the trumpeting of the elephants. Search for the majestic Bengal Tiger, try the local dishes and be charmed by the
snake charmers, artists and carpet sellers.
Continuing on the trip you will reach your last destination - Europe. When you arrive in Kalicameni,
you can go for a ride on the back of a donkey across the hills. Coming to the village it is low tide on the coast and in the
puddles which have appeared you can search for sealife. Skin dive and swim alongside rays, fishes and sharks, or have fun
on some of the vast array of water slides on offer.
